Here are some salmon pics from this year and years past

Here is a chinook I caught on Labor Day this year. The waves were crashing over the end of the pier when I caught it.

It's a beauty of a Brown, but....

PCBs, Dioxins and such would make me put it on the wall, or back in the water.

Hey Draco

Aren't you the guy who said he'd "drink the water I troll in"?

If not, you're darn right they're loaded with toxins, put em back!

PA,

I have said that I would drink Lake Michigan water from the area I fish. Good memory.

The toxins accumulate in fish through a complex food chain process. The water is safe to drink, but some fish in the same waters have accumulated high toxin levels absorbed in fatty tissue through the process of eating bait fish, which eat plankton, etc... Hope that clears up any questions about my comments.

Question That's Why I said

IF it's safe to eat.....

It is a shame everything is so polluted nowadays...
So far as I know, the trout are still safe to eat here...Thank God
No CWD either...yet...
