Who makes the #1 Bass Boat

I know at one time the Ranger was considered one of the top Bass Boats. Is it still the same in todays Fishing?

Kind of depends on what kind the person has. Each person thinks theirs is the best. Ranger is pretty hard to beat.

Well.......I just sold my 1985 16 foot Skeeter and bought a new 17 1/2 foot Ranger bass boat. I guess that I'd have to say that Ranger is the best, although, I really know that there is a heck of a lot of great boats out there.

This is one of the best Bass/ Barramundi boats made in Australia. We tend to go a bit smaller than you boats which is due to our fish hoding up in dence timber snags which makes it harder to manuver a big boat. i have a 4m version of this one.

Most of our boats for freshwater are also Alloy construction for durability, weight and for other reasons that marketing has dictated.

Alistair.

Thumbs up Best Boat

"Triton"
By far the cadillac of all bass boats, but also a little pricy like the Ranger.
I have been in a few Rangers, and got a little wet in the wakes. Not so with a Trton yet.

I have owned a few boats. and i have fished ROUGH lakes, as far as safety Ranger is the leader. my first and my favorite bass boat I own 1989 Ranger 364V, the boat will run 60+ in 3ft swells. The fact that you can not sink the boat is a plus. I have had Champions, Stratos, Tritons and many more. The Triton is NICE, but not the bestn as far as build. The fastes boat I have ever owed is a 2003 Gambler, but my Ranger and Champion boats have pulled through anything. My problem with Triton is , the quality is not as good as Ranger or Champion on build. My 89 looks brand new and my 2000 Triton looks worn out. Ranger is a better built boat. Ranger will never claim to be the fastest, but if I want to be on a boat on Lake Forke in Janurary it will be a ranger.

Just my .02
