Electric Trolling motor interferrence

My electric trolling motor interfers with my Lowrance 75X and Hummingbird if it is hooked on the same battery. I really don't need 2 batteries if not for this problem.

I wonder if there is some sort of electrical filter that would help.

Are your battery's grounded tight with no acid build up?

Make sure if you are running your Trolling Motor with a Fish Finder attached to the motor that the Fish Finder is properly grounded to the boat's frame. I had to run a separate power line up front for the Fish Finder for it's own power source.

As far as two Accessary Batterys, I have that set-up and love it,especially on a two or three day tournament. Just install a Marine Switch to switch from one battery to the other no recharging needed.
