Question Catfishing

What is going on? Is everyone haveing the same luck as I am? Surely some one is catching some fish. I've been out so many times I can't count them all with little or no luck. Can't really put a finger on what's wrong,so I just blame the weather. Biggest one so far has been a 6 1/2 pounder and I won't tell you about the others, well I will tell you they are round with 4 feet.

I'm in the same boat

What is it... If you're too busy to go fishing, you're just too busy The lakes and rivers are high here in GA. my fishing has been sporadic at best. I've gotten some long overdue work done to my outboard motor. So, when I see a clearing - I'll be off. Hang in there and thanks for the post. Ya' got me thinking about fishing. - Jerry A

Here in Ohio the weather has everything screwed up. Neither fish nor game is acting normal. We have had rain nearly every day since early May and much of it has come with thunder storms. The lake I fish is muddy as can be and I think visibility is just about nihl for the fish.

The same weather really messed up turkey season so I think the mating for birds and animlas, and the spawning for fish is off time-wise.

katfish1 is on a distinguished road
Starpup was sure right about the weather changing conditions in Ohio.

Each fishing trip involves decisions and I always try to adapt my fishing to what is happenning. Last year with the lakes flooded and muddy the fishing was difficult.

I caught these 2 fish on a night when the wind was gusting from 25 to 35 miles per hour.

I had to fish from a location protected from the wind and make adjustments to my presentation because of the high water.
