Well the specks are running in the surf down here.The beach is in great shape after a little caostal flooding and the water is as clear as I have ever seen it. The surf is full of baitfish and the preditors are there too.We caught ladyfish,catfish, Speckled trout from 23 to 25 inches and Jacks to 40 inches.Now is the time to hit the surf.All fish were caught on frozen squid, dead whiting and some big plastic bodied jigs.

RIGHT BETWEEN THE BEANS AND MASHED POTATOES.

Good to see someone on the Texas coast is catching some fish. Claudette has turned over the gulf or something. Not many outstanding reports coming in at this time.

The weather forcasters have another on coming up the slot, should be in the gulf this week.
