Outdoor Don, nice fish ! Andrew, you don't have to wait for summer to catch catfish.... We catch more fish during the winter than during the heat of the summer... Try different depths and baits until you figure out were they are at.... Good Luck and great fishing Catman

White Channel Cat

From one of our recent catting expeditions. I've heard of them, but this is the first one I ever saw. Tasted just as good as all the rest.

Hey trout,
I knew what you were talking about but was not sure of the river. I thought you might not wanted to post the river so i ask the question. I might be interested in getting some of those big cats but don't knwo when!

Ohio Cats

Here is a 30 pounder from Lake Logan, Southern Ohio. I released it. I caught it on a 7 in. Live Shad in 2 feet of water.
I cant wait until the ice breaks

catman,

yeah, I know they can be caught this time of year but I like the summer for staying out ALL night on the river bank with a line out, the fire goin' and a beer in my hand. This summer I or we dont plan on quitin' till' the sun comes up.

Saugeye tastes just like Walleye

I go fishing in the winter only for the Saugeyes, but i spend just about everynite fishing allnite long. Sometimes after a nite of cat fishing, we hit the Bass spots while its still dark, we have caught some nice Bass at nite . But Lake Logan holds the World Record for Saugeye, and the ranger told me that when they were checking the fish status, by electroshock. He said they tagged and released a Saugeye that was 3 lbs. over the Current record. And i wouldnt mind landing him
