Hmmmm......any fishin show where they act normal...they miss fish, git baits tied 20 ft up in the trees....and fall outta boats.

I cain't stand fishin er huntin shows that the folks in it are like this:

" Look at me, I'm perfect, I cast perfect, I shoot perfect, and I only paid these guides $5,000 a piece ta find all these fish fer me cause on counta I'm too triflin....so..I AM the fisherman...and by the way, tune in next week as I do the same perfect things all over again! "

Good Lordy

I hate those perfect folks too. My favorite is "The Fishin' Hole". I like that host. He seems like a good ol boy and he isn't always catching fish. He has some bad days but he knows that it isn't all about fish. It is about being outdoors, hanging with your pals, and catching a fish or two.

Jerry McGuinnis (sic?) on "the fishing hole"...right? He seems ok, I like all the old footage he shows...Hank Parker always seems to be enjoying himself...at least that Fish Fishburn guy made ya laugh...lol...and ya gotta bust a gut over Bill Dance fallin down and gettin mad on his less than perfect days...LMAO...

I really don't like any of them much...just sumthin to do when I can't fish or hunt...RedEye

Hello all. New to this site and like what ive seen. My favorite tv fisherman is Hank Parker. His show is family oriented and my grandchildren love to see his show and his family. He seems to be someone I would feel comfortable fishing with. Enjoy all the posts.

I would say that my favorite fishing shows are Hank Parker and Shaw Grigsby. In-Fisherman is also good but i just don't enjoy the type of fishing they are doing all the time. The reason I don't care for Bill Dance is that he is just too cheesy. Bill Dance fishes only his farm pond which has most likely been stocked. Plus both Hank and Shaw give some pretty useful advice.

I have learned alot on In-fisherman mag and T.V. Even if you don't have the fish they go for like smallmouths you can still use the info at times.

I like the reel guys on ESPN sometimes and others it just plain stinks and I like the guy with the little hot dog friend. Can't remember that guys name but i think the dogs name was archie.

Yes Bill Dance does.

Remember these fishing shows are big business and they want your money. You watch, they entice you with their product, you say I have got to have that and the way you go to purchase their product. You may never catch a fish but the product is yours, remember the Banjo Minnow?

I have to say my favorites are
Fish On(currently not taping anymore) and Real Fishing from Canada
and
Bill Dance and Hank Park from the states, not to mention In-Fisherman, which is great from both sides of NA.
